Celine Dion cancels North American tour due to health issues

Celine Dion had to cancel the rest of the North American tour for health reasons.

In a statement to her fans, she confirmed that the singer was experiencing "severe and persistent muscle cramps" that interfered with her performance.

A 53-year-old woman wrote, "I hope she's fine now, but she feels more patient and needs to follow the rules of her doctor.

 

 

She said, "Our show is well prepared with many organizations, so we need to make decisions today that will affect our plans two months from now.

 

 

"I'm very happy to be healthy again and recover from this pandemic. I can't wait to get back on stage.

 

 

The producer of "My Heart Will Go On" also congratulated the fans.

“I was very pleased with the encouragement posted on social media.

"I see your love and support and it means a lot to me," she said.

Dion said it was a "journey" as she pushed back her Las Vegas stay to October 2021.

 

 

The European version of Dion's UK world tour kicks off in May.

Dion is best known for recording the 1998 two Grammy-winning lead single Titanic.

 

 

In the years that followed, she became one of the best-selling artists in history, with record sales of over 200 million people worldwide, according to Sony Music.
